Contact a few different doctors in your desired specialty and chat on the phone with a nurse to get contact information, basic services, insurance, medicine prescription information, and availability. Meet with several health staff members and make note if they are timely and well groomed. You want to choose a specialist you feel comfortable with, but you also want to feel comfortable with other staff members such as nurses too. It’s important to make sure they take your insurance.
